When you make your online reservation on the official website of Clos de la Rivière (www.closdelariviere.re):
Le Clos de la Rivière guarantees that the entire booking process is secured by an https URL.
Le Clos de la Rivière guarantees to implement all necessary means to ensure the confidentiality of the personal data you transmit, in compliance with current regulations.
Your banking data is collected only for the purpose of paying for the services you have booked, and in a secure manner. To learn more, we invite you to read our privacy policy, in the paragraph "how your data is protected".

BOOKING CONDITIONS
When you browse the official hotel website (closdelariviere.re), you have the option to book your stay online. Here are the steps you will need to follow:


STEP 1:
Select the dates of your stay, the number of people, and possibly the number of children, from the calendar available on the homepage of the official website www.closdelariviere.re
You will be redirected to a secure page of our provider specialized in secure booking engine technology for accommodations on the Internet. The URL that will appear in your browser will start with: https://www.le-clos-de-la-riviere.amenitiz.io/en/booking/informations
A page containing all the rates for each of the available accommodations for the chosen dates will be displayed. You will be asked to select the accommodation, as well as the desired rate by clicking on the "BOOK" button.


STEP 2:
You have the option to book additional services by selecting them.

Contact Details: personal information is requested to process your reservation.

You can share your wishes/special requests with the establishment's staff in the "Leave us a comment" section.
To validate all the entered information and proceed to the next step, you must accept our general terms and conditions of sale as well as our cancellation policy by checking the corresponding box.
You will be asked to click on "FINALIZE MY RESERVATION" to proceed to the next step.


STEP 3:
You will see a summary of your reservation request.
You will provide a credit card number with an expiration date and cryptogram to guarantee your reservation. Our provider AMENITIZ uses "AmenitizPay" technology; you can download their SSL certificate at any time.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

Make your reservation on our website to benefit from the best rate guaranteed, secure payment, and personalized follow-up for your reservation.
For your stays within 14 days, payment by credit card remains the fastest way to guarantee your reservation.

Reservation guaranteed by credit card
If you wish to guarantee your reservation by credit card, you will be asked on our site to enter your credit card or virtual card information. By booking on our website, your banking information is secured and encrypted thanks to our Amenitiz Pay system.
VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards are accepted.

Reservation and payment by bank transfer
If you wish to guarantee your reservation by bank transfer, we invite you to send us your request by e-mail to contact@closdelariviere.re to obtain the information for your transfer.
A prepayment of 100% of the total amount of the reserved service must be credited to our bank account at least 14 days before the 1st day of your stay, otherwise the reservation will be canceled.

Reservation and payment in cash
Any payment in cash must be made on-site and for a total sum not exceeding €1000.

According to Article L113-3 of the Consumer Code, le Clos de la Rivière does not accept payment by check to avoid any risk of non-payment and fraud.

Payment and length of stay
Each reservation must correspond to a stay of a minimum of 3 nights and a maximum of 89 nights.
To validate your reservation, payment of the total amount will be required to guarantee your stay.

 

 

CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT CONDITIONS

In case of cancellation of the reservation, fees will be retained depending on the time between the cancellation dates:

  • The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days before the planned arrival date.
  • If the cancellation occurs between 14 and 7 days before the planned arrival date, 50% of the total amount is due.
  • If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the start of the stay, 100% of the total amount is due.
  • If the client does not show up on the day of their planned arrival (no-show), 100% of the total amount is due.
  • In case of a shortened stay, 100% of the total amount is due.
     

Any request for cancellation or postponement must be sent by email to contact@closdelariviere.re
Cancellation: the cancellation of your stay due to force majeure must be accompanied by supporting documents and certificates.
Postponement: any request to postpone a stay must be sent as soon as possible before the arrival date and will be validated subject to availability and may be adjusted to the rate applied for these new dates.
Le Clos de la Rivière reserves the right to modify its cancellation conditions as necessary and undertakes to inform its clients as soon as possible.

 

DAMAGE REPORT
The client agrees to report to the reception any malfunction or damage observed upon arrival. If no report has been made upon arrival by the client, the good condition of the apartment is then considered confirmed by default.
In case of damage or failure to restore the apartment to its original condition, SARL Clos de la Rivière reserves the right to apply measures related to withholding the security deposit of the last client who stayed in the apartment and/or to use the client's civil liability insurance.

THE SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of €800 will be requested in the form of a pre-authorization on your credit card before your arrival.
This will be released after checking the good condition of the apartment after you have vacated the premises, within a period of 10 days.
In case of damage or failure to restore to its original condition, the deposit will be withheld for a period not exceeding 60 days: the time needed to assess the cost of the services involved and the replacement costs of the elements and equipment made available, based on justifications provided by the establishment.
If the security deposit is insufficient, the client agrees to pay the difference, based on justifications provided by the establishment.

 

 

RATES

Taxes
The rates mentioned on our site are inclusive of all taxes (TTC).
They do not include the tourist tax which is mandatory and payable on-site at the time of departure. The tourist tax is fully transferred to the Communauté Intercommunale du Nord de La Réunion, which sets the amount:

As of 01/09/21, this tax is €1.50 per adult per day, for a Meublé de Tourisme **** (4-star furnished tourist accommodation)
This tax is not applicable to minors, holders of a seasonal work contract employed in the territory of the community, and people benefiting from emergency accommodation or temporary rehousing (upon justification).

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE

You benefit from a housekeeping service.

Departure cleaning included
For reservations of a minimum of 6 nights, a full cleaning (excluding dishes) is done every 4 days until your departure (in case of a weekly closing day for the housekeeping service (e.g., a public holiday), all cleanings will be postponed to the next day).

Additional cleaning service on request:

- Light cleaning rate: bed made, change of bath linen and surfaces (excluding floors and dishes)
For 1 to 2 people: €20 incl. tax and for 3 to 4 people: €30 incl. tax.

- Full cleaning rate: bed made and sheets changed, change of bath linen as well as surfaces and floors (excluding dishes)
For 1 to 2 people: €50 incl. tax and for 3 to 4 people: €70 incl. tax

 

Dishes as an extra: upon your departure, the dishes must be washed and put away. You can also choose our paid service at the rate of €30 on request at the reception as soon as possible.
If the dishes are neither washed nor put away at the time of your departure, a deduction from the security deposit of €30 may be applied.

 


INTERNAL RULES
The reservation of an apartment at LE CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE is reserved for individuals of legal age and legal capacity. By booking an apartment at LE CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE, the Client expressly declares to meet these conditions.
The Client agrees to use the apartment assigned to them and more generally all the establishment's equipment in a reasonable manner, in compliance with current regulations, good morals, and public order.
The Client is liable to CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE for any possible damage caused during their stay, as well as for any object, linen, or furniture belonging to the establishment that is missing at the end of their stay.
If CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE were to find any damage or if an object or piece of furniture were to be missing due to the Client, LE CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE will be entitled to re-invoice the amount corresponding to the damage caused after the client's departure from the establishment (upon presentation of supporting documents).
CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE reminds you that its apartments are non-smoking. Smoking and/or vaping in the apartments constitutes damage. In case of non-compliance with this rule, the presence of odor or damage related to burns, CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE reserves the right to charge an amount corresponding to the service engaged or the replacement costs of the elements and equipment provided (upon presentation of supporting documents). In some cases, an interruption of the stay may take effect. However, you are allowed to smoke and/or vape on the verandas provided you close the bay windows.
In case of behavior contrary to good morals or public order, CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE may require the Client to leave the establishment immediately, without the latter being able to claim any refund or compensation.

 


GENERAL INFORMATION


CAPACITY
The Design Hotel Appart Clos de la Rivière offers a capacity of 28 people. The establishment has 6 apartments that can accommodate up to 4 people and 2 apartments that can accommodate up to 2 people. A baby cot can be installed upon request at the time of your reservation.


OPENING HOURS
The reception and concierge are open between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM from Monday to Saturday (hours subject to change depending on occupancy). Except in special situations, the reception and concierge are closed on Sundays.

 

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
The apartment is available to you between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on your arrival day. After 4:00 PM or on days when the reception is closed, self-check-in is available with a Key Safe. The accommodation must be vacated before 10:00 AM on your departure day. The hotel reserves the right to charge for an additional night for any late check-out on the day of departure.

ARRIVAL WITH KEYSAFE (YOUR SECURE KEY BOX)
Arrive whenever you want thanks to the secure box to retrieve the key to your apartment. Contact us so we can program your key box and before your arrival, a code will be sent directly to your smartphone.

 

IDENTITY
The Client is informed that under legal and/or regulatory provisions, they may be required to fill out a police form upon arrival at Clos de la Rivière and to present a valid piece of identification, for themselves and their companions.

 

LATE CHECK-OUT
The Client may request to keep their accommodation after 10:00 AM on the day of departure. This service may be charged and must be subscribed to on-site with the teams, subject to availability.
In case of late arrival, please notify us at +262 (0)6 93 00 76 48 so that we can organize and welcome you in the best conditions, if necessary via the KEYSAFE.

LAST-MINUTE RESERVATION
The reservation for your stay must be made 24 hours before your arrival day (time subject to change depending on occupancy) except on the weekly closing days of the reception.

 

PARTIES AND GUESTS
Parties are not allowed.
Access to the establishment and its parking is strictly reserved for residents. You are allowed to invite up to 2 external people provided you have informed the reception in advance.
To preserve the well-being of the neighbors, please ensure that your guests park in authorized spaces outside.
For security reasons and to preserve the tranquility of the premises, access to the whirlpool is reserved for residents.
The grounds of Clos de la Rivière must remain a peaceful place conducive to work where it is good to rest. We ask everyone to respect the tranquility of others.


ACCESSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Our establishment has one apartment equipped to accommodate guests with reduced mobility (PMR) (optimal capacity 2 to 3 people).


BABY FREE (BETWEEN 0 AND 3 YEARS)
A baby cot, a booster seat, and a stool can be made available to you free of charge.
This service must be specified at the time of your reservation. An identity document may be requested upon your arrival.


PETS
Pets, even small ones, are not allowed at LE CLOS DE LA RIVIÈRE, either in the apartments or in the common areas.


PARKING
A few private parking spaces are available within the grounds of Clos de la Rivière. If the parking is full, it is possible to park outside the grounds in authorized spaces so as not to cause any inconvenience to the neighbors.

 

WHIRLPOOL
A whirlpool is at your disposal in the gardens of the establishment from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. As swimming is not supervised, children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

SUSTAINABLE INITIATIVES
Le Clos de la Rivière has implemented actions to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly travel:
A choice of equipment aimed at reducing water and energy consumption.
Information and usage tips aimed at reducing water and energy consumption.
Use of biodegradable products for all cleaning.
Absence of disposable welcome products, avoiding non-recyclable packaging.
Selective sorting bins are available to travelers in their apartments and within the establishment's grounds.


TRASH ROOM
Le Clos de la Rivière provides its residents with a trash room. This is located at the level of the indoor parking. As part of our commitment to sustainable development, you are asked to respect the displayed selective sorting instructions. Each resident agrees to maintain this collective area in a good state of cleanliness and to report any anomaly to the on-site staff.


SECURITY
We inform you that the common and outdoor areas of Clos de la Rivière are under video surveillance to secure property and people and to prevent malicious intrusions. By this, you acknowledge having been informed of the purpose of this device and the use of the collected data as well as the right of access and rectification you have and a right of opposition in accordance with the Law of January 6, 1978, as amended by the Law of August 6, 2004.


CONSUMER MEDIATION   
Article L. 152-1 establishes the principle of this new right available to consumers, and the corresponding, permanent obligation incumbent on professionals: "every consumer has the right to resort free of charge to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of the dispute which opposes him to a professional. To this end, the professional guarantees the consumer effective recourse to a consumer mediation system".
